Eligibility Criteria
At the time of the application, you must meet the following requirements:
- If you hold a Bachelor Degree
- 4,500 hours of PM experience
- 36 non-overlapping (unique) months of PM experience
- Above must be within 6 years prior to application
- If you hold a High School Diploma
- 7,500 hours of PM experience
- 72 non-overlapping (unique) months of PM experience
- Above must be within 8 years prior to application

Day 1:
- History and Evolution of Project Management
- Understanding organization's Integrated approach to projects
- Importance of common vocabulary in project management
- Differences between Portfolio management, Program management and Projects
- Introduction to PMI framework and five process groups of project management.
- Defining success criteria of a project.
- Organizational Influence:
- Understanding the impact of organizational structure on a project.
- Role of project manager in various types of organization its limitations and how it impacts the influencing ability.
Day 2:
- Initiating process group:
- Purpose of project charter and developing project charter
- Planning process group:
- Understanding Scope management processes, purpose and uses of WBS, building RAM using WBS building and analyzing project schedule and Time management processes and their applications. Understanding critical path Method and sample examples on project scope and Time management Knowledge areas.
Day 3:
- Planning process group:
- Basic concepts of risk management and Risk Management Processes. Understanding risk measuring attitude and tolerance of Stakeholders. Understanding I/O of risk processes and how to prepare risk register. Qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and decision tree analysis. Potential responses to the risks. Sample quiz on risk management.
- Managing project communications and stakeholders. To understand the communication needs of stakeholder and preparing communication management plan. How to establish communication network in a project team?
Day 4:
- Executing Process:
- Nuances of Quality & Procurement in Execution. To experience Execution process by executing a Project Plan (A Project Simulation).Experiencing the cost aspects and cost of quality in execution.Understanding types of contracts and their application in a project.
- Controlling and Closing Process:
- Understanding the importance of controlling process, Earned value management and its application in performance reporting and contract administration.
- Interpersonal skills, conflict management,teamwork, influencing self & others
- leadership skills
- Revision of PMBOK through Knowledge Area perspective. By using an Integrated Case covering all aspects of project management.
- Examination preparation tips.
- There will be discussions on other matters of PMP® exam, assignments, homework and plan for post course studies for PMP®
